I thought it was probably a good idea to make a list of all the TV series I'll be watching come the Autumn (when all the good telly starts again), mainly because there's a lot and I'm bound to forget. There's some commentary there too, if you like that sort of thing.

You've got to see The Mist. Where people were unjustifiably splooging all over Cloverfield they were completely ignoring this far, far superior example of the monster movie. Man, it feels kind of awesome to be listening to a song sung by Kamen Rider Drake himself. I mean, it's not quite as cool as it would be if it were Hiro Mizushima, a man so unrelentingly gorgeous and good-looking that he'd probably turn the hardest, most manliest and thuggish ex-con gay in less than five seconds, but you can't have everything.

God, the Doctor Who finale was depressing. Really pointlessly depressing... so much Bad End for characters that didn't deserve it. Well... OK, just one, but it felt like more.

Hmm, the only really cool thing about the generally rather disappointing Batman: Gotham Knight is that David "Steel" McCallum plays Alfred. That and the first segment was quite nifty I suppose. The rest... pretty mediocre and not a patch on The Animatrix which it was essentially emulating. I was really looking forward to it as well.
